FWIW, some (but not all) of the prettiest and best crApe myrtles are patented and cannot be legally grown from cuttings without permission. One good source of crape myrtles, if you want to buy some, is The Crape Myrtle Guy. He was mentioned recently on another thread and appears to have the best selection of about any reputable mail-order source. I've never personally bought anything from him, but he has a lot of good internet feedback and reviews. He looks like a safe bet to me.

What color are those? I am especially looking for a deep red and a deep lavendar.

they come in both colors you are looking for, but we will only carry the red.

these have the dark purple/almost black foliage, you may want to look into 'Dynamite' and 'Muskogee' if you want normal sized trees with green foliage, black diamond only gets 10-12ft tall.
