Roofing vs. siding colors

We're putting a new roof w/dormers on a ~1930s-era cottage. We chose a light-colored reflective Energy Star roof shingle. Now we have to choose the Hardiplank siding color. Any recommendations for choosing a siding color that would look good in relation to the very light-colored roof shingle?
