I am looking for advice. I recently built a new deck on the back of my house and am ready to stain or paint it. I think I should probably stain it with an oil based stain. I'm leaning towards Sherwin Williams deckscapes. What do the pros on here recommend? Also what colors? I'm thinking a dark brown on rails and under-portion of steps and deck support 2x4s and a regular brown on the decking/deck floor. Pics of my deck attached.
