These are not built-in fridges. They stand proud of the cabinetry. To me built-in is a sub-zero type fridge that is completely flush with your cabinets. I have the Elux and am fine with it sticking out.

Terminology:

Free standing -- Out of the box. Has feet and finished sides.

Built-in -- attached to the walls. May require a pedestal, and does require at least a toe kick panel. Has no finished sides.

Integrated -- built-in made to be part of the cabinetry.

Flush integrated -- integrated to have the doors in a single plane with the cabinetry, usually used when speaking of slab doors though can be interchangeable with "integrated" depending on the speaker.
