Not at all...doors are often a different color, but a photo would help.

Here's another vote for "No." Your house would look much more thoughtful if you choose a complementary, but different, color for the shutters. Good luck!

I love a cool door color. For example, taupe siding, black shutters, an eggplant door. The door can be your wildcard, since it's easiest to change.

HI -- Usually the front door is it's own color . But it really comes down to the color scheme of the exterior and the house style .

I don't have a problem with the door and shutters being different colors IF they are complimentary to each other. Red and taupe and chocolate brown are NOT. I wish people would stop painting their front doors red. Come on people. that is a very outdated thing to do, it does not look good. If your siding is taupe and you want to do chocolate brown shutters, then I would do a black front door.
