the 2016 ball book just arrived ! their website says this book with over 350 recipes contains more than 200 brand new recipes. my 2006 ball book has 400 recipes. can i still trust the almost 250 recipes that must have fallen by the wayside? hopefully they were slightly changed into "new" recipes, but how to tell? i would hope if a recipe was deemed unsafe that a note would appear in the forward or that section of recipes.... aha.....i see some are recipes for how to use the canned product. a bit misleading !

2nd edit- i see the dilled beans have gone from 1:1 to 5:2 vinegar to water ratio for the brine. what gives ?
