I am growing the 'Yemen' arabicum more hard now. Too fast stem elongation.

The 'Golden Crown" arabicum in the first photo has been neglected since the photo was taken. It is still stuck in the same container and has been dormant for 2-3 months. But the caudex and branches have fattened up a bit. I forgot to take an up to date photo...

Yemen looks really nice!!

Goodness me, those look fit to burst! What tremendous growth in both of them, do you feed them meat and three veg?

The two arabicums murmur "thank you". I guess... ;-)

Gill, just the usual menu: raw meat (from strangers coming too close to the condo) and left-overs. We have a no food waste policy here. ;-)

Btw, today's photos (photo 2, 3 and 4) are of the arabicum 'Yemen'. Just from different angles.

Martin. Good growth for one year. Are you using plants hormones? Can i use coconut water, fish etc...to boost growth?

Stuart, nah. I am a believer in KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). ;-) In my experience, adeniums are forgiving plants and will grow even if you feed them with a regular balanced fertilizer. What really matters is heat, sunlight and water.

Outstanding! I really love this one. Really strong stout branches. It is certain to be a keeper. Awesome skin and color. If you repot this baby frequently it will turn into a giant rather quickly.
