but generally.. all are trees.. and will eventually assume verticality ...

but it might end up a question of decades.. tree time ... and how gnarly the lower part looks.. and if you can live with that ...

Almost all of the excurrent (strong central leader) conifers will find their own way upward fairly easily. However there are some that benefit from gentle encouragement. Your three should be ok. This may be happenstance, but the three upright Abies koreana that I have (two are 'Horstmanns Silberlocke' have all had leader troubles. The leaders were upright, but either died or were lacking in vigor. I releadered one purposefully and let the other two handle it on their own. As Ken notes, it can take some time, as these aren't fast-growing plants, but it all worked out ok within a few years.
