We are looking to add some color and personality to our dining room. It is really the only eating space in the house. I would like to keep original elements intact like the stained trim. I am thinking of painting the top a medium grey. Also is the rug too small? I love this rug but can move to another part of the house. I would like to brighten the space as well, should I add chair cushions or a runner? Any help is appreciated :)
