A bronze finish would look really nice with your cabinet finish. When looking at your bronzes or oil rubbed bronzes, make sure you get one that is considered a non living finish. With the Salt air in southern Florida, the living finishes will tarnish quickly and will go one of two ways....verde corrosion effect, or a darker blotchy effect. Bronze would be OK, but check out some of the new antique gold ones that would compliment your glaze and look richer than the bronze. I will find some as examples. The golds are raging back into style.

Agree with Flo...antique brushed gold would be beautiful! I think bronze would take away the elegance of the space....if you do pendant light or fixture over island I would do the antique brushed gold finish there to!! Ver pretty kitchen!!!

Here are a couple that would look nice I think. the first is a group that takes things a bit more casual but I think they would work really well with your cabinetry and they have a nice group of choices. Knobs, drawer pulls, etc.

OrkThis comes in with a whitewashed look that doesn't show on this picture. I have used these in two homes and love them. They have matching knob too. Over time, some of the white wash rubs off a bit gives them really nice patina.

Antiqued gold with a different shape. See if any of these appeal to you. But you get the idea. Be a bit better than what 1000s have already done!

Yes, I realize that is new finish but somehow with the style and colors, and washes, I was drawn to those. But all ideas are good.

I recommend knob on the doors, and pulls on the drawers. An oil rubbed bronze finish will work well with your cabinets and not fight with your stainless appliances. As much as the satin brass is making a comeback, it has to fit with the big picture in the room.

Agree JWH Design. That's why I moved to the ones I posted. The kitchen overall reads traditional so the new gold isn't quite right for it.

I would do all handles no knobs it will give it a very new clean look in traditional kitchens "it's just not your mother kitchen anymore"

Traditional kitchens with stainless steel appliances and gold hardware..would look gorgeous mixed with your warm granite counters...

I respectfully disagree because the contemporary style of that hardware, to my eye won't work well on the curved traditional cabinetry. I think some antique gold would work and move toward this new look but keep in tune with cabinet styling.

Use an oil rubbed bronze finish. Pulls or knobs? There are so many beautiful choices. What feels best for you, when you grab to open a cabinet? Knobs are good on drawers and pulls, on cabinets.

This style seems to be more in keeping with the style of your cabs.

Totally agree with all pf the posts, oil rubbed bronze would really bring an old world look to this traditional kitchen.

Please don't put bronze twisted pulls on your gorgeous cabinets...so over used for the last 10 years...if you do bronze try to do a more updated pull and handle.

Thank you everyone for all the input. I live in upstate NY and will be moving into my Florida home at the end of the month. I'll update with pictures then. I'm leaning towards oil rubbed bronze like the pendants.

Has nothing to do with aesthetics, but I prefer a smooth handle--with nothing to catch on my clothing. I currently have round knobs on my drawers and find my belt loops and pockets catching on them occasionally. Depending on your height, though, it may not be a consideration for you.

I think if you haven't already purchased these lighting fixtures...I would consider something a little more updated and without the gold tone glass....do not take this wrong but they look very much like standard builders lighting...your kitchen is so beautiful...this is the time to put the jewelry into your space...lighting is so very important in the design.. Please don't ignore knorrbuzz's practical remark amid so many other decor suggestions. Most knobs and the pulls with pointy-ends catch sleeves, button-front clothes, belt loops, etc., sometimes with disastrous consequences. (Ditto for stair railing ends that don't return to the wall.) Consider safer designs for drawers and any door handles bodies will touch/rub against while working partnered with something else in other locations. [Be sure the installer uses a jig so that every piece of hardware is identically spaced and also not askew.] Best Wishes!
