We have cork floors in all three bathrooms. Although warm on the feet, they stain easily (toilet bowl cleaner + kids = blue floors). As well, they need to be refinished every so often to avoid water damage.

Toilet bowl cleaner? Cork needs a neutral ph cleaner, I think, and toilet bowl cleaner is caustic anyway. You'd do better with a neutral, organic cleaner, especially with children in the house. And like the poster said above, you shouldn't get water damage with 100% cork tile. It's the fiberboard that gets damaged, unless it's something else that caused the damage, like acid cleaner.

We had a cork floor in the bathroom for over 20 years. As long as you seal it. Easy to clean waterproof and mould resistant also good for dampening sound.

We have had cork mosaic tiles in our bathroom, including the shower floor for 13 years. Currently installing in a new bathroom again, running into the shower (no curb). We absolutely love them. Non-slip, never cold underfoot, softer than ceramic or stone tiles. Naturally mildew resistant. Standard grout. Not inexpensive, and requires patience and expertise for installation, but we recommend to everyone. As far as staining goes and/or caustic toilet cleaners...well...stop using them, and use natural cleaners that are safer and healthier for both you, your family, and the world environment. Yes, they do work.
