Your kitchen looks lovely! All your choices are neutral so far, so you can go any direction you want with the fabric. Do you want a pop of color? Or do you want to keep it more minimalist? If you go for a pop of color I'd be sure to tie it in with a couple of accents in that color elsewhere (could be a vase or some small, visible kitchenware, or could be in the window treatment). Just make sure you use a fabric that is kid friendly--maybe sunbrella indoor/outdoor for easy cleaning.

I'd stay in your current color palate for the custom upholstered bench cushions, then play with whatever color strikes your fancy or calls out to any artwork or adjacent rooms in the back/toss pillows.

Don't forget that you'll have a table there, and won't see the entire cushion. If you're unsure about neutral vs a pop of color, why not do both? You could use neutral on one side, and teal on the other (sides either neutral or teal). Or, neutral overall with teal piping.

Great news for you is that there are so many family friendly fabrics on the market today. What I mean is that they are treated like a Sunbrella outdoor fabric with Nanotechnology so they are wipeable. You can spill grape juice, bar b que sauce and wipe off. Make sure you ask your fabric supplier for this option since it will eliminate any stress at family meal time.

With kids and so you're not limited I would stick with the darker grey for the seat cushions - then you can pretty much do anything with accent pillows, art or window treatments and switch them up every once in a while.

Samantha, what table are you using? This needs to be taken into consideration as well. I would also suggest a Perennial or Sunbrella fabric, as it is so easy to care for, stains and spills wipe off and for stubborn messes can be bleached. No stress for mom!
