365 Foundation Quilt Blocks

Does anyone have this book? I'm looking for an owl pattern that I think is in this book. I think it's pattern #256... named "owl".

Can anyone help?

thanks, Jennifer

I don't know what it looks like, but maybe do a search on Pinterest for Foundation Pieced Owl and see if anything similar shows up. Good luck.

Pinterest is where I got the pattern/idea. But it wasn't a pattern I could purchase, it came from the book listed above. Thus, looking to see if someone had that book so I don't have to buy the book for one pattern. This is what it looks like. owl

I've done a huge amount of searching on Craftsy, Pinterest, Google, any where I can think of to find paper pieced patterns for Birds of Prey. I can maybe duplicate this owl to fit the size I need, but if someone has it, it would be easier/faster.

Still looking for a paper pieced pattern for an osprey, but haven't found one yet.

Jen, I'll try to remember to look when I get home this afternoon. I have a book that is all picture blocks; not sure if it's that one or not.

Amazon has used copies of this book as low as $5.50.

Will check my shelves, too, Jen.

Sorry, Jen - my book is called Block Magic and there are no owls. :(

    Dryground~ That's awesome!

Is it a paper pattern only, or does that book have a cd with it? Ultimately, I need a 12" block pattern. So, either you could mail a hard copy to me that I could enlarge as needed, or you could maybe email me a .pdf file? Or I wonder if you could post a file here? (Anyone? Is that something that can be done on this forum?)

    Thanks for looking for it!

You can set up in your profile/account for personal messages...did you ck there? It is not wise to post your addy here for spammers to see.

Ok. I found where I see messages I've received. But can someone tell me how to send a message?

It's been a while for me, but I think you click the name of the poster(i.e. Jennifer in va) and it takes you to her page where you can pm.

I think posting patterns that are under a copyright are frowned upon here by the management of Houzz. So you might want to try email just between the two of you. But then, I could be mistaken about this......

dryground- That would be very nice, thank you. I can return it when I'm done...

I can't seem to find your email, but my email is in my profile if you are able to see it. If not we'll work something else out.

Where would it be located. I looked at your profile. You can keep the book. I don't like to foundation piece

Okay, I may have made adjustments to my profile that will allow you to message me. If you click on my name or quilt picture, you hopefully will find a 'message' button on the top right on my profile page (in the middle of the ocean on my picture). [I saw one on dance_girl's profile and tried to set mine up the same way]

If that doesn't work, I'll post my email here as the last alternative. This really shouldn't be so difficult. I appreciate your willingness to help me, through all this.

This is a screen shot of Beverly's page. It shows where the message
button should be. If you click on 'jennifer_in_va' just above this
message, you should see this button on top of the screen (my screen
picture is a beach in Tahiti)

Anita, click on that message button on Jennifer's page and a box will come up for you to send a note.

It has been harder to "talk" between members since Houzz took over. It means everyone ( who wants to keep in touch by email) must set up their profile to accept mail.
