Stink bug damage on pole beans?

My Blue Lake pole beans are just starting to produce. I haven't had much trouble in my garden this year with stink bugs, but I'm now seeing stink bugs in various sizes. I'm seeing many dark little pinprick spots on the beans. Are those spots from the stink bugs? Is there any reason not to eat them, besides the "ick" factor? But....if they are from the bugs, I'm thinking the ick factor is reason enough to not eat them........but I'm just weird that way. I grew an earlier crop of Kentucky Blue pole beans and they had no signs of stink bug damage. Are some varieties just more susceptible, or was I just lucky with the Kentucky Blues? Thanks!
