Huge blank walls in great room

I have 2 spaces I need help with! The wall in my kitchen is an old chimney stack that could t be removed. I don't love art or pictures enough to put a huge colorful picture in the kitchen any other ideas? The other large wall in the great room I was going to put about 6 large pictures grouped together so it doesn't look to busy. I'm not in love with the idea tho. Any insight?

On the chimney, what about 3 shelves placed one over the other, in a vertical row. Place items you like on the shelves...ideas: maybe a cool teapot, dishes, glass canisters, a few stacked cookbookscandle/candleholder on the bottom shelf so you can reach the candle to light it!

Oh, and on the other wall either a large mirror or 3 different mirrors placed in a horizontal row or placed randomly for visual interest.

A mirror and shallow console would look pretty on the large wall. Your home is so pretty :)

I think something wood. Like a large scale architectural piece to pull together your wood from that gorgeous front door, and your kitchen window panes.

No clocks, and you already have a mirror in the room. Your home is beautifully done, but that wall is begging for artwork. There are so many different kinds - color photography, black and white etchings, abstract paintings, traditional paintings, geometric prints, botanical prints, etc. It may just be a matter of finding the type of artwork you like. Even an intricately carved wooden panel would look great. Look at local art fairs, architectural salvage yards, or check with a local designer.

How about a nice framed blackboard on that chimney wall.
Use if for the saying of the day, message to your kids or spouse, list of needed items. Or write down a recipe you want to make.

Who doesn’t love art and then in the next sentence want to put 6 pieces on a wall. The wall in the kitchen would be awesome with a piece of colorful art and IMO a large piece on the wall in the family room
