Hello, I'm currently remodeling my master bath. The cabinets are white with a gray glaze. The wall color is Halycon Green by sherwin williams. I have already bought the vanity top and bathtub out lay which is Carrera Marble. I originally wanted all marble. Then, everyone is telling me not to put marble in the shower , which will be glass, bc of the up keep. also, telling me not to put marble on floor b/c of the softness and scratches. The ceramic and porcelain tiles is slightly off from the carrera marble. The carrera marble tile floors comes in a matte finish, but other marble tile shapes comes polished. I was told to do one thing all the same, whether porcelain tiles/ceramic or all marble. A- do i use marble all over and is it really that bad for showers and b- would it look bad that the floor would be matte where as the walls, and vanities will be polished. thank you so much with my crisis?
