Last pic looks like a Hydrangea in too much sun. Above that, looks like sooty mold on leaves. That comes from the plant having aphids &/or scale that secrete honeydew and give the mold sustenance. When this years' leaves fall off, that's usually the end of the mold issue for a healthy plant.

Running the sprinkler daily is probably contributing or even the primary problem. Foliage doesn't need to get wet, just roots.

Try watering thoroughly, for as long as it takes to get the ground significantly moist below the surface about once per week (if it hasn't rained during that interval.) By next year, no watering should be needed for shrubs planted this year unless it doesn't rain for more than a few weeks.

Welcome to the South, where humidity makes gardening a war with Mother Nature. Tiffany gave you great advice on watering. I see a lot of tropical plants in your garden that probably won't survive the winter, i.e. Bird of Paradise and Dracaena. You'll need to dig those and put them in pots to overwinter indooors if you want them to survive.

I suggest finding a good locally owned garden center and asking which plants will survive in your zone.

It's fun to grow different plants to see how they do, but grouping up same plants gives a good look, too. It's good to consider the mature size of the crepe myrtle (and other large bushes) now and decide it that's the right spot for them.

I would agree the daily waterings could be a factor. In fact, IIRC, you might get enough rainfall that you don't need to water as much.
