Hi all,

Just bought a lovely house, only flaw is facade and parapet. Sadly it is the first thing you see. Not sure why this was built, I think it is meant to hide solar panels and uneven roofing (from various additions to the home over the years). The roof is mostly spanish ceramic red tile and one area of corrugated iron on top of the patio addition. I dislike the roman numerals and greek columns. I could simply box the columns and eliminate the roman numerals but not sure how to modify the awning over the front door into something more pleasing to the eye. I would like something more subdued with more organic color scheme, potentially using spanish tiles as a replacement for the current triangular parapet.

Would love any/all suggestions and ideas.
