Seems like they all dropped off with the new deal here - (Houzz). I dropped out of posting but was still lurking when they changed it, didn't understand how to get back in and I was under the impression that you had to be registered into FB and I refuse to do that. I still don't like the new site but then who am I?

Rita, I don't like it, either. I don't like the ads everywhere and especially don't like the menus at the top that pop open if you move the mouse near them.

Many of the forums I participate in are very slow and many people who used to post are now absent.

I miss all the ones mentioned, too!

What I find really annoying about this site, for me anyway, is that I have to sign in every time I want to post. Still haven't figured out why. Makes me think twice about adding anything.

I don't need to sign in each time. Do you have problems with needing to sign in each time on other sites? I can ask my son why this is happening for you.

The ads are annoying, but other than that, I've, knock on wood, have not had sign in issues. I miss the names mentioned here as well. I was wondering about Sandra, she always signed off, best to you, Sandra; I was thinking about her with all of the flooding in in Louisiana...hope she is well. She was just so pleased when her husband put shelving in for her stash!

K8 ,or Kate, and I are in touch regularly and she is doing fine. Everyone goes through different phases in their life, so I guess it shouldn't be surprise if quilters take a break.
