Sun shelf depth

Any idea of the depth of the sun shelf? The bubblers look more submerged than usual. Is this due to the depth or due to pump pressure?

The tanning ledge has 6" of water. The bubblers here are just this height, because that's how the customer keeps them. Their is a variable speed pump that can be turned up higher and valves to divert more water to them if they'd like.

Do you have trouble with people stepping on the bubblers and breaking them? If not what brand are these bubblers and where can I purchase them?
