santa cecilia light granite backsplash help

I'm currently trying to pick out a backsplash for my kitchen. The granite is santa cecilia light, the cabinets are the color cherry java by Cumberland (http://www.timberlake.com/wp-content/themes/tbl-three-oh/images/doors/cumberland-cherry-java-600h.jpg) and the floor is red oak cherry manchester strip by Bruce (http://www.bruce.com/hardwood/C218.asp).

I generally like glass tiles and I've been struggling to figure out what might give the room a little bit of pop. Thanks for your suggestions!

    Interestingly enough, I'm moving into a house with a kitchen that has exactly the same elements. It has a combo of white subway tile and a strip of white textured marble--probably not exactly what I would have chosen, but it's very nice.
    Would you consider a low-pattern white/cream/grey marble, maybe in a herringbone pattern? Or for a little more drama, you could choose a penny or hexagonal tile in a brushed stainless. Your counter has quite a bit of pattern, and the cherry wood is quite a statement in itself, so if you were going with a glass tile, I'd stick with white, maybe cream, and/or a pale grey. If you keep it neutral, you can switch out paint and accessories at will.
    Your kitchen is REALLY nice. :)
