Having a string of bad luck!

Very frustrated. I don't have an extensive hoya collection YET but I do have many other plants .I don't get good light so I put them out for spring and summer and grow buddies in the winter. Today a tornado decided to pay us a visit and flipped everything including my hoya that was already stressed. Its a mess!!! I don't know where to start and its getting dark. Just needed to vent. I hope I don't lose my hoya.

Sorry for the unfortunate news.

I'd suggest you gather it all up, repot it as best you can, water it if you feel it's necessary & then LEAVE IT ALONE for at least a week. Hoyas can be quite resilient plants; w/out seeing pix of the damage, I'd say fingers crossed, hope for the best & pls. don't fuss w/ it.

If sections or branches broke off, they can always be re-rooted & water & repotted, so all is definitely not lost. Best of luck w/ it!

Hey you guys. Sorry haven't had a chance to get on here. Finally everything's repotted. Another twister today. Not so much damage for me this time. Some of the plants are looking kind of sad. The Lisa from Poland is officially dead. Keeping my fingers crossed on everything else. Its very sad. I guess I love my plants too much

Aww, sorry to hear about your 'Lisa'...one of my personal favorites. One thing I don't miss about living in Tornado Alley is the storms.

Its been my dream to get a Lisa so it's pretty devastating. Everyone has such beautiful pictures of theirs on here.I want one so bad but even when I get the money, I'm afraid to try Poland again but I don't see them anywhere else.just t like obovata and kerii. I love them but I only see them outside the US .by the time you pay for the shipping $50 for a cutting with 1 or 2 leaves that may or may not be good. Frustrated....

Did you see my obovata on ebay? It is not a bad price for a large plant with peduncles. I always throw in a surprise cutting, and I do have 'Lisa', wink, wink :)
