This is the range hood my builder uses. What do you think of it?
Cosmetically I'm fine with it. I was thinking I would want something
wider since our range is 30".

FWIW: I have only ever had one of those microwave over the range
deals that don't work at all. So I'm guessing this will be better than
anything I have ever encountered. It's in the budget, which is good. I
just want to know if there is anything major I should be worried about
with this one.

It will be a glass cooktop 30" range. I cook a lot of onions, peppers and things in coconut oil and beef tallow.
