My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Meal preparation is getting more difficult

I gave one jar full of roses away to a neighbor but my kitchen island is getting overrun. I like to have them where they can be seen. I'll miss this problem come January.


Another full vase of arranged roses is off camera on the counter to the right. Except for the two small bud vases, these on the island haven't been cut and arranged yet by my wife. (She's been putting in some hours at work.)

And continuing with my fascination with blue globe thistle:


Elle, Monkey Business and globe thistle. (Elle was getting past her prime.)
