Struggling Alpine Strawberries

Early last fall, I planted some Yellow Wonder variety alpine strawberries I started from seed. They transplanted great, overwintered well, and thrived in early spring producing a decent amount of fruit. I am located in Middle TN and as the summer heat arrived the plants began suffer a bit. I have them located to where they get morning sun and minimal to zero afternoon sun. As the foliage began to die back, I pruned it away. I have heard that alpine strawberries usually have to crops, one early spring and one late fall. Do these plants look normal for alpine varieties in the summer? Should I expect growth as the temperatures cool off? Thank You.
