I love this do you think it's better to 3/8" or 1/2" thickness for the pavers. Do you really have to seal it. I love this for pool decking.

The standard thickness of outdoor Travertine Pavers is 1.25" thick, which is ideal to protect against breakage. For indoors, Travertine Tiles are recommended. Travertine Tiles are .5" thick.

It's not absolutely necessary to seal the pavers, however, it will bring out the natural characteristics of the stone. It's also a good idea to seal if you are frequently entertaining (to protect against spills) or if you have a salt water pool.

Sealing travertine is not like sealing a deck. It's very simple and requires little prep compared to sealing a deck.

I love the look of the ivory swirl travertine. I am considering this as a renovation to my pool decking over the existing kool deck. I am told this is not a problem. Please advise any thoughts. Also, do you agree this would just add a touch more character than Ivory travertine or Torreon travertine. Any thoughts are much appreciated! Thanks
