Yep that is not a Big Beef. It looks like it is one of the blacks but there aren't many rugose blacks - Rosella Purple and Tasmanian Choc. come to mind. Several potato leaf varieties but only a few rugose. Save seeds and see if it is stable.

PS: how tall is the plant. It could be one of the newer dwarfs.

It filled the texas tomato cage (6ft) but not over top yet.

Big beef has regular, non-rugose foliage, and the fruit are always bright red, with the smaller and medium fruit being globes, and some of the larger fruit verging on oblate. It ripens mostly uniformly and doesn't retain green shoulders, although it can have a touch of yellow shoulders in extreme heat.

Def not a Big Beef as mentioned above. Agree with Dave, what you've got is some variety of so-called black (dark) tomatoes.

And yes, most of dark tomatoes get green shoulders. But the flesh underneath should be fine to eat. .
