I have owned one. Any kind of carpet works ok - glued down or otherwise. We had vinyl as opposed to marmoleum, but I don't see why it would not work.

We have installed carpet direct glue in manufactured homes but more commonly we install carpet over pad wall to wall like we would in any other home. Either way will work nice- you can get a nice short carpet that will wear well.

For the vinyl, standard or marmoleum would work. Marmoleum will be significantly more expensive so if you are looking for a standard inexpensive option, go for a regular vinyl flooring.
