Rooting succulents for hydroponics. When rooting stem or leaf cuttings it is proper to leave the cutting in air for a few days to allow a scar to develop. This scar avoids rotting if the cutting is replanted in soil. Is this still done when leaf or stem cuttings are to be installed in a hydroponic system? Any one with any experience in this?
