Try some carb cleaner within the carb and try again , if nothing check compression , if over 100 # , try new plug and try again . Report back results .

Tried carb cleaner in plug and cylinder no luck. Plug ok no wiggling but replaced anyway no luck. Don't have compression meter. Ordered new ignition cool just in case spark not hot enough. Plug sparks outside engine but maybe not hot enough. Will report on new ignition and scratches in cylinder and piston,but not optimistic

To bad you did not find a Comp Guage , before ordering the Module . Spark must be bright blue . Scratchs could could indicate worn rings (low comp) since these blowers run at High RPM for Prolonged or Extended Durations .

Thanks SSTracker1. The new coil did'nt fit but got a chance to remove the muffler and took a look inside. The piston was scored. The new coil had the same resistance as the old about 4.26 kohms therefore assume the coil is good. My spark is bluefish but I would not call it a strong spark.

it looks like a compression issue. I'll try and have it checked but I think I'll scrap the damn thing or keep it for replacement parts.

No Problem Paul , Glad to be of assistance. If you have the tools you could hone the cyl , if score is not severe resurface the pistion , and install some fresh rings .

Paul, sstracker toss it but if u really want to keep it, look on Craigslist u can get a working one or for parts for $10 or even free.
