    Where can I buy them (what is the part # for correct filters), how much are they, and is there any other modification that needs to be made when installing as ductless other than putting in the carbon filters?

    You can purchase the charcoal filters from the manufacturer's (Cosmo) website. The part number is: CFK1. You can see the cost of that item in their website. Aside from the charcoal filters, there is no need for any other modification on the unit itself.
