Dunno bout buggy brew, but the equivalent or less in castings would do the same trick. Even doing nothing, that stuff will happen so long as there is moisture and time. All the times I've doubted worms so far I have been wrong. Tougher than they look. Their favorite foods include newspaper, cb, melon, pumpkin, squash, lettuce, corn meal, fall leaves, hay. Your guys will be happy so long as you keep them cool, moist and protected from predators.

Worms, and vermicompost, never need "starters" or "boosters" or other supplements. (Nor does regular compost.) The microorganisms a worm bin system needs are already 100% present once you combine worms, bedding, and food, and from there you just need to keep the conditions right for everything to thrive. Really and truly. The best things in life are free. Since you've already added some of this stuff, no harm done, it'll just go into the mix. From here on out, just know that no purchased supplements will do anything to boost, 'optimize' or otherwise improve a worm bin system.

Coconut meat sounds like excellent worm food, but probably very potent, nutritionally speaking. I see no problem with adding some quite soon after the start, but probably be very modest with the amounts at first. If there is a mass of the stuff it will probably temporarily heat up as it starts decomposing. That won't hurt anything as long as the worms can sidle away from any hot spots, but it's probably another argument to add slowly at first.

For getting worms to settle into a new bin, my advice is to dump the worms in with their travel bedding, cover them over with the bin bedding, and leave them in a centralized clump like that - don't try to stir them around. They'll move out into the bedding at their own pace, which might be slow at first. Some portion of the worms may freak out and try to leave the bin at first, so it helps to keep a light on over the bin at all times and check for any inappropriate wanderers.
