Jillian what about lighting? The room needs more light and there is electrical already in the wall.

Perhaps some overhead lighting. A chandelier or "fan"delier.

I like the TV/console just as it is....but the lamp by the chair seems out of place. Could we see the other side of the room and see if you have end tables and lamps. Maybe take away the floor lamp and put a lamp on the table by the chair. Love your new console. I am not one for a lot of "stuff" around the TV but do like tables and lamps around the room.

The floor lamp has typically been placed behind the chair. It got moved when we replaced the console. I agree I don't like it there either. I'll post the other side as well when I can get a shot in the light.

Hi MK...I would add 2 very large floor lamps to flank media console...add family photos framed all the same size and all the same frames hung around the TV to create a photo gallery...
