Long Wall Dilemma

We have a very long wall with high ceilings in our house. This is the formal living area where we have a couch and a bar (working on finishing this with end tables and such) and then next to it is our dining room. Our dilemma is how to break up the wall. We have a buffett that goes with our dining room table and have ordered a large mirror to hang over it. We are hoping to put a long console table along the wall behind the couch. Looking for suggestions on how to accessorize or break up this very long wall. Was thinking lamps on the console table? Maybe a plant? Large art over the console? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated! :)

PRO10 years agolast modified: 10 years agoI would use your current sideboard with a very tall arched mirror. Add buffet lamps and a bowl of orchids at the entrance, directly behind your sofa on the entry wall.
Then at the wall in line with your dining room table I would place an open hutch with sideboard below so you have a place to serve from during dinners. This allows you to take advantage of all the space and height you have in the area. Also I would also add a chandelier that is mounted much lower in the space from the ceiling.
