Do you have 'cans' in the ceiling for good lighting? You might be able to have lanterns with any look you like [not considering the brightness].

I had 'saved' that same photo cause I liked the chairs. Anyway, they mixed that youthful fabric. Seems the basic shape of lanterns can lead several directions. What finish are you thinking, if any? They come rustic/ distressed, or like your photo the opposite.
