Bigger meaning taller or wider (or both)?

I agree, you need something taller and wider to fill the area. Its a nice picture but not for that space.

I would try to bring in the subtle blue/green leaf color.

If I were laying out and office, I would not have the desk facing a wall if I could avoid it. I would get the room layout correct and then work on the wall decor.

I really love the second picture but think the first would work if you're planning to accessorize the console with a lamp, etc. Or, you could paint a square in a color different from the wall color to act as a "frame" for the picture.
