IMO in this small space I would get rid of the monster T.V cabinet and put in low storage , wall hung T.V and some art the Besta system from Ikea would be great in the space

for the comfy chair I'll get for the big corner what color/fabric do you recommend? The sectional is light gray and it's a soft, subtle corduroy fabric. I was thinking a leather chair in the corner? something rustic and worn looking? But is that too much dark next to entertainment center and wood floors?
