Blue pearl granite counter tops with backsplash

Looking for a backsplash to compliment blue pearl counter tops. Currently have white counter tops with metal trim. Just had red oak hardwood floors installed. Also any advice on paint choices. Ideally looking for a grey blue

Rpdow...welcome! Congrats on your first post! I love white cabinets with blue pearl countertops. They really pop. I also really love marble and I found some pics with blue pearl and marble together. I also like how darker tiles were brought in to highlight the countertop. Overall its very timeless. But if modern is more your style then this horizontal tile would do nicely as well.

You are right this is my first time posting on houzz. Once I have the blue pearl granite I can post but my contractor is pressuring me to find a backsplash. I need 70 sq feet and i was hoping to find something that goes with blue pearl that would not be too busy and not too cold in that white kitchen. Oh and of course not be too pricey.

Just one other comment. Blue pearl should be the star as it has a lot of pow. Careful to pick a backsplash that doesn't compete. Otherwise it can be visually overwhelming. I would pick a larger tile with not a lot of variation so the star can be the star.

You are a Princess for your time and suggestions !!! Thank you so much this is very helpful and the pictures you sent were spot on. I think I found something I like today. Going to try to post photo tomorrow for feedback ..next challenge is paint. I tried the color gravity by valspar it looked awful on my walls. I do like your suggestion about a star being a star.

We are putting in blue pearl vanity and wall tiles in a bath and chose something that looks like carera marble for the floor. they pair well.
