My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Antique remilled heart pine decking, salvaged from an old pickle factory that was being demolished in Norfolk, VA.

    Those floors are incredibly beautiful. An excellent choice for this home. !! Are they solid or engineered?

    These floors started out as nominal. 3' thick decking in an old pickle factory/mill constructed building. The owner (a builder-http://www.houzz.com/pro/bsmithcontracting/smith-contracting-nc-llc), ripped the decking down to two boards per plank, and then milled them on 4 sides to a nominal 5/4 thickness.
