THE CHARLATAN reminds me of Dainty Bess. JAM & JERUSALEM, what an odd rose with a strange name. They are all lovely.

Thanks everybody! Sorry I been busy... We spent all weekend working on the chicken run extension. And still doing stuff around my mom's estate and getting the house ready to sell. What a lot of work.

Here's a pic I took of the chicken run this morning. I put two of my mom's Japanese maples outside the pen. The one on the left she started from seed after we moved up here in the late 70s. There is another one still at the house that she also started from seeds that she got from her beloved homestead in Johnstown, PA. That one is humongous and is planted in a big old ceramic sink. It's sooo heavy we haven't been able to get it to my house yet. Need our son to help. It's a more lacy-leaf one.

Ingrida, that CHARLATAN is one I got new this season. Been very slow and not great repeating. I figured for a climber it would take off, but it has stayed about 1ft. LOL Yeah that name "JAM & JERUSALEM" is kinda weird, but it's a lovely rose. Got it in the last batch I got from Pickering.

Helen, I think MYRTHE is a bit more burgundy that OSIRIA was. Both beautiful tho.

Carol, I believe I got SNUFFY from Steve Singer a couple yrs ago. He might still have it. He should be updating his website pretty soon, I imagine. Or you can email him about it.

I like your chicken run. The japanese maples will be nice there. I have wild grape vines, and beauty berry shrubs near mine. The fruit falls down in the pens and the chickens can snack on them lol. Post some pics of your chickens sometime :)

I love all your roses. I really like the color on the Little Grey Pearl. Its so unusual!
