oh gosh i thought it was dying.. thank you. Those browning leaves aren't getting any better either but yes new leaves are coming regardless.

Plumies like it hot and sunny and sometimes when they look for it they start getting bendy. Full, brutal sun is good for these plants.

should i move it to full sun then? i currently have it by mmm front door where its hot but away from full sun hitting it.

I would, but if diff bet where it is to where it will ultimately be is too vast, you may have to move for a few hrs first and increase time over a one week period.

it seems to just hate me.. those leaves that absorbed too much water are definitely dying and not recovering. it did give two new ones. but the Plum now looks wilted closer to the sun i put it :(

What part of country are you in? Location change is traumatic that's why i suggested a gradual move but besides that, is soil sufficiently moist? Thirsty or too hot plants defoliate but recover when it adjusts to sun and or is hydrated. It doesn't hate, it just doesn't know you well yet.....
