Hey Tayla, when it comes to decorating a home or office, I always suggest plants. Gives a clean and relaxed feel to any room. Maybe a dwarf fruit tree in one of those corners. You might need a grow light if you don't get enough natural light. I recommend the Aspect. You can find it www.soltechsolutionsllc.com. You might consider an IKEA pax system, a customizable shelf/armoire unit. I'd do two side by side sections, both with doors. One section would be all shelves for your work/paperwork. The other would be a closet and maybe a couple of drawers, so that a guest that's staying there would have someplace to put their clothes. A nice side table with lamp would offer a guest a nightstand for when they're sleeping on the sofa bed.

Can you turn your desk so that you are looking into the room....I would not like facing a wall unless you have a window there. Desk can be pushed back when you have guests.

I could consider facing outward, I want to say it was awkward being able to get up and down from the seat unless it was pushed out further. Good idea though to try with fresh eyes!
