I am officially fighting with tiny birds!

Someone mentioned on another post that birds were uprooting their seedlings. Well, beginning last Friday, I'm experiencing problems with tiny finches.

They are building nests and are picking adenium seeds out of my containers, have pecked the heads off two that newly sprouted, and are even undoing the hang tag labels on my plumeria cuttings. I found one entangled in one of their nests-in-progress yesterday and two more went missing today.

I sowed 4 precious Zaftig Moon seeds. All but 1 were plucked out of the soil ... they just disappeared. This morning I was grateful to have one germinated. When I went out to mist them just now, it was gone! The finches got to it. I am so bummed.

They restarted building the same nest after I removed it 6 times yesterday and twice today ... on the outer security gate to my back door. Every time I go back there, there's that nest in progress. They can't put a nest there!

They are relentless.
