That sounds beautiful! I've been thinking of starting a mango tree of my own. If you plan on keeping it small and pruning it I don't see a real problem. I've done a lemon and avocado tree that have fruited in smaller containers. If you're growing it inside you'll probably need a grow light though. I use one called the Aspect and love it.
