Width of doors on pantry

We are about to remodel our kitchen. To the right of the fridge, we will have two 24" wide x 15" deep cabinets from IKEA to be used as a pantry (they are tall cabinets with pull-out drawers). We're using Semihandmade for the doors. I'm wondering if it would be better to have one 24" door on each cabinet (total of 2 doors), or two 12" doors on each (for a total of 4 doors)? The image attached has 24" doors, but I'm wondering if that will feel too big to swing open.

I went back and forth on this as well, opted for the single door. The kitchen looks simpler, and it's only one door to open.

Don't you want deeper cabinets next to the fridge? 15" deep next to a fridge that's at least26" deep seems too shallow. 24" doors are pretty big. Depends on how much space you have in front of the cabinets.

Hi Susie, the reason they are so shallow is that we have a laundry closet on the opposite side of the wall (behind the cabinets) that comes out beyond where the back of the refrigerator is. Wish they could be deeper cabinets! We have 42" in front of the cabinets, then an island.
