Beautiful tile, what is it/who makes it?

We are adding an extension of master suite. In looking at tile, I know from experience that grout can be a nightmare. I love the pebble floor look, but how difficult is it to keep looking nice? Also what kind of wall tile is it in this image--porcelain? Who makes it? Thanks!

Hi There,

The wall tiles are tagged with manufacturer and color info, but the glass accent has since been discontinued. The shower floor is a natural stone pebble tile (likely from Island Stone - this was several years ago so the design file has been archived).

Any natural stone tile will need to be sealed prior to the first use and periodically thereafter to protect it. We like to use an epoxy based grout. It's more expensive than cement grout, but it has built in sealers so it holds up much better. Another option would be to use regular grout and then seal it, but the sealer will need to be reapplied just like it would on the stone.
