Hi! I am in Houston, TX. Would love to go see these slabs in person, but it appears the closest showroom listed is in Austin. Are you aware of any distributors in the Houston area? I could make a trip to Austin, but not sure that I could get slabs delivered to Houston area. Have been trying to replace countertops and in the middle of a remodel since September =(
I cannot find any quartz that I like. It all looks a dingy, creamy gray to me, and I would like a brighter white to pair with white and greige cabinets. Thanks in advance!

Hi, just about to purchase the Paragon and wondering if anyone who has it finds that it’s super subtle- almost like mostly white with really really subtle grey veins in real life? It’s so hard to tell in photos I find they all seem to look almost completely white and it’s hard to see any veining at all? I’m in love with the quartz, just want more of the “marbling” as opposed to blank white space if you know what I mean?! I love the look of a beautiful grey Carrara vein.. Also considering sfumato because it seems a lot less subtle but I do love some of the longer veining which it doesn’t have... If anyone has close up photos I’d love to see! Hoping it’s just the brightness of the photos that blows the detail out a bit..

I’m in Australia and Aurea has just hit our market... we don’t have as much choice as the US so I was really excited to find it!

It is subtle but there certainly is a fair amount of veining. Everyone that sees it thinks it’s marble! I hope these pictures show the veining in ours

@parenti2943 thanks so much for that! Looks great! It does look very subtle, so you would say not much blank white space? I also love the look of quartz like London sky but we can’t get that here, I think that’s lot busier though!

Which is the whitest version in the Aurea Stone? I love Paragon but it seems like it has a gray undertone? I also like Epitome but prefer Paragons simplicity.

I have paragon and it’s actually very white!

I am being told that you can no longer purchase in the USA. Could that be true?

I just called their only authorized dealer in Florida and they said Aurea is no longer sold in the United States. Bummer.

It is a bummer. When we purchased our Aurea- Paragon stone, there were only so many slabs left in existence. I believe it had a lot to do with tariffs on China (pre-Covid)--it was getting too expensive for them to manufacture/ship.

I do have a question for those that do have Aurea stone. Does a sealer need to be put on the quartz prior to use...like marble? I'm new to quartz-world but when I wipe my counters with just a wet rag, there always seem to be a slightly milky/cloudy residue left behind. It appears glossy and shiny but at closer glance you can see these wipe marks. I'm wondering if my installer did everything correctly with this type of stone/brand. Thanks!

No sealer needed. If you wipe with just water, I get that too. I started using a cleaner specifically for quartz & mine looks great now!

SM, I’m in MS & was told it was sold out. I called the wholesaler in NJ & they shipped it to my fabrication place. That was pre Covid, but I recall NJ having a lot left when I needed it. (But totally sold out in the south)

I was told you could very carefully use the barkeepers friend soft cleanser on it (we have Paragon).

When the cloudy or sportiness gets really terrible, I use that (only 1-2x per year). It makes it look good as new again!

Hello! We have Aurea stone installed in our house and we love it! However we had a minor incident with a small crack that formed and we tried to get it replaced at the company who installed it called CSI and they told me/us that the company is out of business and that they do not make the color we have - which is paragon. It seems that this may not be the case, I have called and emailed the owner multiple times with no response. We need just a small piece for the replacement. Can anyone help us!!?? We are located in state college PA.

Did people do square corners? I noticed the manual says not to do square corners but the photos on Aureas website look square to me for a modern look. wondering if it’ll chip. Thanks!

@Christina Bauer — was @Aureastone able to help you? I also got Paragon installed by CSI in Bellefonte and mine cracked because of bad installation. I had to threaten to sue them to get them to agree to hold up their warranty and replace it for free. They’re offering me a different quartz as a swap that’s not nearly as pretty. They want $1,000 more for one by another company that looks the same. I just want the Paragon again and they say it can’t be found. Did Aurea come through with any for you?

That’s what I was told. It’s not as pretty in my opinion to what you have with the paragon but it’s close. I tried to match it for the bathrooms but they couldn’t ship to my area so I only saw a sample. Maybe they could match the price for you?

Hello ! We were not able to get it replaced. I called multiple times and even had our contractor try to reach them and they would not replace it. The owner had said he would offer me to pay half price for a different material. Essentially what I found out is that the color we had is no longer available Bc one of the materials that it is made out of is not available in the USA. So they made a new version of the same color without that material. I never went to look at that replacement material Bc I was so disappointed with their service and eventually just stopped calling. I will never use csi again.

Has anyone used aurea stone behind their range top? I want to place it behind a 36” thermador. Not sure how heat resistant this product is. I can’t find any info anywhere

it’s is no longer available. Enigma is the one that replaced it. it has a similar color.

I have not tried extreme heat on my counters but definitely placed items that are too hot to hold with bare hands and it has been totally fine. My fabricator said this material behaves like a cross between quartz and porcelain. Slightly more heat tolerant than quartz but maybe a bit easier to chip than quartz. I used it as backsplash and counters. Overall I’m very happy with it.

Hi my husband overloaded the upper right cabinet with glasses, and several fell out, and they did create a few very minor dings in the counter. I had that happen in my old home with quartzite, and it did not get damaged at all. So, I would say it’s not as resilient as quartzite but overall it’s decent. It’s just so stunning in person. I went to a slab yard the other day to look at stone for my bathroom vanities and I still couldn’t find anything I liked more.

@cristinika belle - I had decided to use genuine marble slabs for my kitchen countertops - but I just saw this Symphony by Aura Stone - Carmen slab in person - and it looks stunning! I would never use a faux marble quartz countertop - but this looks so different than those. How does the sink area look?
