I love the wall colors!!! Sorry, not much help here, just admiration. :) Except that your headboard seems too small and out of place for the room. I would find a much larger light colored headboard that you love, and design the rest of the room taking the "theme" from it.

I agree with your idea to stay away from the Moroccan theme. Just eliminate the 2 darker Moroccan throw pillows,add 3 white Euro pillows against the headboard, then layer the 2 scroll design pillows and in front of those a pillow similar to blue wall color. Replace the sheers with more substantial drapery panels and if possible shop for new night stands and a mirror over the dresser. Great start!

kittybart, what would you think about floating the bed,facing it toward the door? Your dresser could go on the bathroom wall (or back-to back w headboard),and chair by the window,or another room. Seems like it would give the bed (and headboard) more presence. If you want to go even more minimal, you might put a bamboo or textured shade at the window and use the same textured treatment on the back wall.

Hello there! By something on the walls you mean like home accessories or shelves and stuff? And more, is there any possibility to apply more lighting objects (especially on the ceiling, at the top of the bed), in order to get rid of the chandelier? I'll look for some pictures or sketch something to see what I'm thinking about :)

Love the accent wall and would do the entire room that color....I think your bed, dark nightstand and dresser can stay....find another dark nightstand of same height....keep the silver lamps, add round silver mirror above bed as suggested, remove the rocker, it's not the right style or color and throws the room off, great suggestions above on doing the bed, mirror above bed and curtains......is that a mirror to go over the dresser in the corner, hang it above dresser, add lamp to dresser.....don't worry about hanging more artwork, your beautiful wall color will be your accent.............good luck

Am I the only one that thinks you should remain with the accent wall and leave the rest white? By painting all your wall that turquoise colour will make your room really dark. I love that colour by the way.

I would get rid of the side tables and have white sheets and throw pillows of teal and green. Definitely add a landscape painting above the headboard maybe in reds and yellow (like a abstract sunset) so you can add abit of colour so it's easier to bring together other colours.

Floor to ceiling curtains on a half length window looks weird and you already have blinds there. Too much in my opinion. Do either one and not both

I love the color and agree that making all the walls that color will just add to the richness. A lighter headboard and more silver and some great pillows will keep it light and integrated. Can you tell us what the color is? Thanks!

Rickster, for me accent walls work best in small doses. The larger the area, the more unfinished they can appear. In this instance, the wall should be the focal point of the room, but isn't: the room leans heavily to the left, while the window remains the focal point. Painting at least three walls((2sides plus end) in the same color would pull it back to center.

@brody1313 - yes that is a rectangular mirror. Somewhat Moroccan themed but mostly painted wood - dark.

The wall color is Behr - Peacock Tail. The other walls are actually a gray - SW Modern Gray.

@maria1104 - yes, I meant accessories. When you say get rid of the chandelier, do you mean the ceiling fan? That will need to say - too functional for me to nix.

If I hang my mirror over the dresser, I can do something else over the bed right? Like Rickster88 mentioned - something horizontal?

@Keitha - The scroll pillows ARE Euro pillows. So I need one more, correct? And then add King size in front? I'm not sure what you mean. The photo you showed, those don't look like Euro. Or maybe there are different size Euro pillows. These are square obviously.

My thinking was to basically keep the bedding white similar to the photo that I attached above. Thought that you could layer 3 white euro pillows against the headboard, your 2 euro scroll pillows in front of them and then an accent pillow (blue?) in front of the scroll pillows. You could eliminate a row of " pillowing" if you think this would be too much????

@Keitha - Okay, makes sense. Thank you! No, I don't think it would be too much. I might do my 3 euro scroll pillows in the back and then use my regular Queen/Std (I don't like King pillows) in front of them, though. Not sure how that would look. I'll have to see.
