No, so let your team know this is NOT a 'recess cabinet.' See manufacturer's instruction page. But hey, you actually CAN recess it about 85%. Reason? The hinge side of mirror frame needs to swing back (toward recess area). But this is minor, leaving only the frame and about 1/4 inch of box protruding. That's what my contractor agrees to do.
