Blooming marvellous

Autumn is here: the days are getting shorter, night temperatures are below 10C at night and the seedlings have been moved into the shed (OH is still working on the proper winter set-up).

But my (semi-) adult DR's inside are not giving up yet.

Big boy has grown leaves in the last month and a half, and thrown out (the last?) 3 flowers to give it a little more class:

I've been fertilising with Dyna-Gro FoliagePro for about 5 weeks now, and OMG, the DR's seems to LOVE it! I gave one of my adult DR's a hard crew cut about 2 months ago due to a big mealy bug infestation. Since the start of the FP fertilising it has grown a full head of leaves again and looks just as healthy as its same-sized siblings (sorry, it was still too dark this morning to take a good picture).

All the others seems to thrive on it as well. This DR hasn't stopped flowering for me since late April:

Some of the smaller ones are showing buds again as well. I can't remember whether this one is the yellow or the white with a hint of pink one, will have to wait and see:

And, most excisiting: the two grafted DR's I got from AdeniumCenter mid-August are both showing buds all of a sudden. I'm especially "dying" to smell the fragrant one:

Fingers crossed they will all blossom and not loose the buds along the way.

Nice Conny! One of mine started blooming again this week. I love these plants so much!

Must agree on the DynaGro. Best Fert I have ever used for them.

Love to see your plants and hope to see more of your blooms in the spring. I don't have a purple yet, but desperately need one. Living vicariously through all of the forum pics right now until I scratch that itch.

Beautiful plants! Would love to see a full shot of the first one. That second one is very nice. What kind of pot is it in? That purple one will be amazing!

The plant in the second picture is in a plastic planter, then in a stone pot. I always take the DR's out when I water them, so they can drain completely before I put them back.

It's short for Cornelia, the female version of Cornelissen (Kees), couldn't be more Dutch I guess :-)

Hm. I would not have guessed that. Where I'm from, something like Nell would be the short of Cornelia.

I hope your fragrant adenium makes it. I have a hoya that bloomed this year for the first time and it turned out to be scented. Unfortunately it's one of those odors that give me sneezing fits! Had to kick it out of the house lol

So I'm a bit wary of scented adeniums and I'm just going to enjoy yours vicariously.

Conny spectacular show! We are having the same temperature dips tonight and all week here too. I am letting mine all tough it out for another 2 weeks before I bring them indoors. I bought some seeds of Triple Indigo from Adeniumcenter! I have a plant about blooming age, she is 2/3 covered in white leaves. I've moved her to a different spot to see if she is getting too much light. Can't wait to see yours bloom! Following :)

Oh my Tracy, are yours still outside? Not the seedlings surely? What are the temperatures in your neck of the woods at the moment?

Conny, wow....both very pretty. Yellow and purple ....I hope you get them to bloom true color. The first pink is pretty also.
